Public notice is hereby given that there are two vacant position as a voting members of the Asotin County Noxious Weed Control Board for District 1 and District 3.
Districts
- District 1 (Peola) is generally that geographical area laying south of the Snake River, west of the city of Clarkston, north of Asotin Creek Road, and east of Garfield County.
- District 3 (Asotin Flatts) is generally that geographical area laying south and east of the Cloverland Road, west of Highway 129, north of the Asotin/Wallowa County line, and east of Garfield County.
Requirements
The eligible persons must be a registered voters of Asotin County and reside within the geographical area of District 1 (Peola) or District 3 (Asotin Flats).
Volunteer Positons
These are volunteer positions and board members receive no salary, but shall be compensated for actual and necessary expenses incurred for official duties.
Terms
The term of office for each District shall be 4 years.
