The Asotin County Regional Landfill and Washington State University/Asotin County Extension joined together to teach local residents how and why to recycle organic yard and kitchen material through compost technology. The workshops were a great success and many composting bins were given away.
Workshops
There are not any additional composting classes scheduled because they were paid for through a grant that has since expired. The Asotin County Master Gardener and the Clarkston Community Garden occasionally put on composting workshops in addition to other horticulture related events. You can check their upcoming events via Washington State University or the Clarkston Community Garden.
