Title elimination is turning your manufactured home into "Real Property". this changes the manufactured home from personal property to real property on the tax rolls. The title elimination can be done by recording the proper document with the Auditor's Office once the final inspection and installation approval has been completed by the Building and Planning Department.

Sanitary Approval & Septic System
Sanitary approval required and available through the Health Department for private sanitary disposal (septic) systems.
Building & Planning Department
Installation permit required for manufactured/mobile homes placed anywhere in the County. Pre-HUD homes (built before 1976) must be approved and comply with Department of Labor and Industries Safety Inspection prior to placement. It is important that the installer is certified by the State of Washington as a licensed manufactured home installer.
Building permit required if you are constructing any outside building, decking, or porch.
Sewer permits are issued by the Building and Planning Department for those locations served by sewer.
