Rental Assistance

The Treasury Rent Assistance Program (T-RAP) grant is part of Washington State’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Funds are intended to prevent evictions that would contribute to the spread of the virus by paying past due, current due, future rent and utilities, and targeting limited resources to those who have experienced financial hardship due to the COVID-19 outbreak and are at risk of experiencing homelessness or housing instability.

Please call QBH at 509-758-3341 for more information and to see if you are eligible.

Quality Behavioral Health is open Monday-Friday from 8-5 and we are currently placing names on the Treasury Rental Assistance Program list on a first come, first serve basis. At this point, it takes on average 30 days to start processing an application and then an average of 7-14 days to make a payment to a landlord once a complete application has been submitted and all documentation has been received and eligibility verified.

This announcement was made in response to Proclamation 21-09, which is intended to bridge the operational gap between the eviction moratorium enacted by prior proclamations and the protections and programs subsequently enacted by the Legislature.
